With the Delfin, Bürstner is launching its first campervan based on the Renault Master and is therefore extending its campervan portfolio for the third time within only twelve months. With the "Limited Edition" features as a standard, it already
offers numerous home comforts in the mid-range price segment.
Düsseldorf. The name Delfin is closely associated with Bürstner's product history. This time round, the manufacturer, based in Kehl, Germany, chose this name for the new, first Renault Master-based Bürstner campervan, presented just in time for the new season. The base vehicle for the Delfin C 621 is a manual 135Bhp Renault Master 2.3 dCi (optional alternatives: 150Bhp and manual or automatic transmission) in a choice of three exterior colours. It will complete the large Bürstner family of midprice
range compact vehicles.
The Delfin's habitation reflects the "wohnfühlen" home away from home feel that is typical for Bürstner: Well-balanced interior design, intelligent use of space and, above all, an ergonomic layout. In addition, the new Delfin always comes with the extensive
"Limited Edition" features. In the exterior area, these include 16" alloy wheels, aluminium window frames, a sun awning and a spoiler protection guard, for example. In the interior, the "Limited Edition" features upgrade the vehicle with pilot seats covered in the same fabric as the upholstery in the habitation, pleated blackout blinds in the cab and a special lighting concept, for example. A multimedia system with a rear-view camera and other comfort characteristics are always included. The furniture comes in the light, contemporary furniture design and finish Casa Pino.
Ergonomic living
The dinette's functionality is well thought out. The table is space-saving and foldable, making it comfortable to get in and sit down. Thanks to the standard swivel function, the tabletop can be extended. Optionally, customers can order the mid-vehicle
dinette designed in such a way that it easily converts into an additional berth. Ergonomic upholstery, an Isofix child seat anchor point and additional seat belts for two people complete this habitation solution.
Campervan single bed solution
Customers have a choice: They either use the full single beds (190x71/70), or they convert them into a double bed (190x178cm) with the aid of the slidable slated base. The large storage space underneath the bed can still be used completely after the bed has been converted, thanks to a special support mechanism. A gas bottle box that holds two 5kg bottles is also located under the bed.
Kitchen
How to integrate a real kitchen despite the limited space – Bürstner has solved this problem in the new compact Delfin. It is equipped with a 69-litre compressor refrigerator with double-hinged doors for optimum access, also from the outside. The
kitchen is completed by a two-burner hob, a sink with an integrated single lever mixer tap and a glass cover, and soft-close drawers.
A real bathroom
The Delfin campervan has a large and wide washroom unit with double concertina doors. It is also equipped with a shower curtain and a pull-out handset. The integrated rooflight ensures optimum ventilation. Clothes can be hung up on the clothes rail, a standard feature. The bathroom cabinets are ergonomically positioned and easy to reach.
